Meet Your Coaches
Coach Kendall
Kendall Beveridge Liss is the JV Head Coach at San Francisco University High School. She is a Level II USA Field Hockey certified coach, played collegiately at University of Maryland, and has competed with The Olympic Club for the past decade. Kendall also coaches for Nexus in Northern California.
Coach Lauren
Lauren Benson has been an assistant coach at UHS since 2023. She played field hockey at Amherst College and also plays ice hockey! Off the field, Lauren leads the data analytics team for the School of Engineering at Stanford University.
Coach Michelle
Michelle Lovejoy is the Varsity Head Coach at University High School. She is a Level II USA Field Hockey certified coach, a Level II NFHS coach, and has a BA in Physical Education. She played at University of the Pacific and has two kids (who will likely play hockey as soon as they are old enough to hold a stick!)
Coach Maddie
Maddie Eade is a JV Assistant Coach at UHS and previously coached at The Madeira School (her alma mater!) in McLean, VA. Maddie played club field hockey at Northwestern University. She loves pilates, film photography, and her fluffy rescue cat!
Coach Corey
Corey Hastings is the Varsity Assistant Coach at UHS, as well as for SF HAWKS and Nexus. He is Level II USA Field Hockey certified, was a Scottish youth hockey player and sports scholar at Northumbria University in England, UK. He has played hockey in the Netherlands, Italy, Zambia and locally for the Eagles in BAFHA.
Coach Kelly
Kelly Kreigshauser joined the UHS JV coaching staff in 2024, after coaching at St. Andrew's Episcopal School in Austin for 4 years. She played at Rhodes College and currently works full time as an Enterprise Sales Leader at Lumos.
